We’re seeking an
Accounting Manager, M&A Integration & Reporting
to support acquisition onboarding, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives. If you have consolidation experience, purchase accounting exposure, or have supported M&A activity—even better.
The Opportunity In this highly visible role, you’ll report to the Corporate Controller and work closely with leadership across Accounting, Finance, and Operations. You’ll support newly acquired entities, strengthen reporting processes, and help drive system integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
Manage monthly close and reconciliation processes for select entities.
Prepare and review journal entries, account analyses, and supporting schedules.
Support consolidated reporting, lender deliverables, and annual audit requirements.
Acquisition Integration
Lead onboarding and integration efforts for newly acquired businesses.
Assist with purchase accounting, opening balance sheets, and U.S. GAAP adjustments.
Support ERP/system integrations and ensure accuracy of migrated financial data.
Contribute to developing and enhancing internal controls and financial processes.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and local accounting teams to resolve accounting issues.
Provide technical guidance and ensure accurate, consistent reporting across the organization.
Special Projects
Support ad-hoc reporting, debt covenant calculations, percentage-of-completion/WIP analysis, and other Controller‑led initiatives.
Participate in system upgrades, software implementations, and other strategic projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
CPA required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience (mix of public + industry strongly preferred).
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
ERP experience; prior system integration exposure is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Willingness to travel periodically.

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid). Salary range: $135,000–$165,000.
