Director, Sales Rimini Street

is seeking an experienced sales leader to head our East Coast territory. The role reports directly to the VP, Sales and focuses on growing revenue, managing a high‑performing Account Executive team, and expanding our presence in the SAP and Oracle markets.

Responsibilities

Support the VP of Sale by growing, mentoring, and leading a subset of the region’s sales team.

Hire, onboard, train, develop, and manage a team of 5–8 account executives that consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Ensure the success of direct reports by working closely with corporate support functions to supplement their efforts.

Develop and execute a plan to exceed quota targets every quarter.

Guide prospects to the Rimini Street solution through a solution‑selling approach.

Collaborate with the leadership team to set sales strategy and growth objectives.

Prepare and provide weekly forecasts to the South/SW Region VP of Sales.

Work with marketing teams to drive a coordinated go‑to‑market approach across marketing and sales resources.

Represent Rimini Street at regional CIO and analyst conferences.

Ensure that sales activities are updated, current, and tracked in Salesforce.com.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience selling enterprise software and services, with a track record of building new markets or businesses.

5+ years in a sales leadership role, proven ability to build and manage high‑volume, quota‑bearing teams.

Experience selling ERP software such as SAP or Oracle, or complementary solutions into the SAP/Oracle customer base.

Strong solution‑selling, team‑selling, and account‑management skills.

Proficiency with Salesforce.com and non‑salesforce CRM systems.

Demonstrated success in open‑market prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation.

Excellent coaching, mentoring, and performance‑tracking capabilities.

Ability to travel (approximately 25%) for sales opportunities.
