Legal Secretary / Paralega l with a strong background in transactional work. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling dictation, document preparation, and administrative support in a legal environment.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide administrative and paralegal support for transactional legal matters
Draft, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and agreements
Manage dictation and transcriptions accurately and efficiently
Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate document tracking
Assist with scheduling, client communication, and office coordination
Support attorneys with research, filings, and documentation as needed
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Competencies
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilitiesHigh attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Professionalism, discretion, and reliability
Skills & Education Required
Prior experience as a legal secretary or paralegal (required)
Transactional law experience (preferred)
Proficiency with dictation tools
Strong computer skills and familiarity with legal document formatting
