Veeco’s San Jose facility is a vibrant hub where advanced lithography and annealing technologies drive industry leadership and growth. As one of two HR Business Partners onsite, you’ll collaborate to deliver high‑impact HR solutions, working side‑by‑side with manufacturing, engineering, product support, and more.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or other relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of direct HR experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Manager is required. A professional HR certification is preferred. An equivalent combination of training experience may be considered.

Ability to be onsite 4 days a week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Impeccable integrity and courage
  • Knowledge of public company dynamics
  • Enjoyment working with a diverse employee population, including exempt and non‑exempt staff
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and California employment law
  • Strong judgment, situational awareness, analysis, and decision‑making skills
  • ERP experience is strongly preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.)
  • Good computer skills (e.g., MS Office suite of products)
  • Excellent influencing, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate, organize, and manage programs/projects in a global environment
  • Skill at fostering healthy working relationships at all levels
  • Personal attributes: Self‑starter, detail‑oriented, thrives managing multiple priorities with limited resources, and enjoys both tactical (administrative) and strategic work

Salary and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $130,000—$160,000 plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job‑related factors when determining your pay.
