Job Title: Employment Defense Attorney
Location: Beverly Hills, CA
Billables: 1800
$170,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Represent employers in all aspects of employment litigation: discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage & hour, and related claims.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses and briefs; take and defend depositions; prepare for hearings and trials.
- Advise clients on employment practices, policies, compliance issues, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with senior partners and litigation team to develop strategy, manage cases, and ensure top-tier client service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Admitted to the California bar; active license.
- 2-6 years’ experience in employment defense litigation (employer-side) or equivalent civil litigation experience.
- Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills; comfortable in depositions and motion practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to high standards of professionalism and client service.
Bonus: Performance + Discretionary ($10k - $50k Typically)
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
