Overview
San Francisco-based plaintiff-side law firm seeking a motivated, qualified attorney with no less than three years of experience in civil matters in federal and state court, including discovery, defending/taking depositions, drafting complaints and other pleadings, and legal research in class action/mass tort/complex individual cases.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating new cases, drafting complaints
- Research any legal facts or issues required for an efficient and effective handling of a case
- Draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents
- Handle hearings and depositions
- Identify, select, and prepare expert witnesses as well as critically deconstruct opposing experts
- Exhibit excellent writing skills
Requirements
- Admitted to the California State Bar for no less than 3 years as a practicing attorney
- In office attendance (with limited remote per month)
- Travel may be required
