Duties:
- Represent clients in complex Hatch-Waxman litigation matters from inception through trial
- Draft legal documents including briefs, memoranda, motions, and expert witness materials
- Manage fact and expert discovery processes
- Conduct legal research and provide regulatory analysis under the Hatch-Waxman Act
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary legal teams and life sciences experts
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and trial preparation
- Provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in Hatch-Waxman litigation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven projects
- Experience with all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial prep
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
Skills:
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Effective in team-based and independent environments
- Technical background in chemistry, biology, or a related life sciences field is strongly preferred
