Opportunity
EY’s Agile Business Transformation, enabled by SAP technology, focuses on strategy, customer value, user experiences, processes, and technology. Our SAP Logistics professionals deliver strategic solutions to help clients transform their logistics operations, improving cost, efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or workstreams.
- Participate in Explore phase design workshops.
- Perform configuration of SAP Inventory Management, Logistics Execution, Application Link Enabling (ALE) and related modules.
- Design interfaces and integrations between SAP and external WMS applications.
- Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications.
- Perform testing of solutions.
- Support development and delivery of training materials.
- Provide on‑site hyper‑care support to client/3PL warehouse users.
- Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and strong business acumen.
- Assimilate new knowledge and deliver quality client services with risk management and stakeholder communication.
- Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Building relationships and communicating effectively are crucial. On each engagement, work with stakeholders to gather requirements, architect solutions, blueprint, test, document, and configure integrations with both SAP and non‑SAP systems.
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving.
- Proven ability to manage engagement economics and resource planning.
- Experience leading teams and managing change.
- Capability to identify additional services and lead specific RFP responses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4‑year).
- 4–6 years relevant experience.
- At least 3 years with SAP logistics solutions involving external WMS integration.
- Experience with interface design using EDI, X12, EDIFACT, API technologies.
- Experience configuring SAP Logistics Execution and Materials Management.
- Strong written and verbal communication, client service, and technical writing skills.
- Research skills for emerging issues, regulations, and technologies.
- Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and team members.
- Willingness to travel 40–60%.
Ideal Add‑Ons
- Prior consulting or deep functional experience.
- SAP certification(s).
- Experience with two full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4.
- Experience with two full lifecycle integrations of SAP with external WMS.
- Experience with EDI messaging (846, 856, 888, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947) or X12/EDIFACT equivalents.
- API integration to non‑SAP WMS solutions.
- Hands‑on SAP configuration, custom RICEF design, test script execution, training material delivery.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations for distribution/manufacturing facilities.
