Special Counsel, Labor & Employment
Compensation: Up to $240,000 + annual bonus
Location: Fully Remote; must reside in and hold active bar license in CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, MO, OR, TX, or WA
Summary: Our client, a nationally recognized Am100 Law Firm, is looking to bring on a Remote Special Counsel to join their Virtual Office (100% Remote) supporting their employment litigation and EPLI cases. The firm reported just under $800 million in gross revenue this year and holds a strong presence with 1,800 attorneys nationally, specializing in labor and employment law. This is an excellent fit for attorneys looking for a flexible work environment while maintaining diverse experience in the Labor and Employment space.
Responsibilities include:
- Support employment litigation and EPLI cases.
- Handle cases regarding discrimination claims (race, gender, age), harassment claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, retaliation claims, and breach of employment contracts.
- Engage in large portion of Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) work.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in litigation, preferably with specialization in labor & employment law.
- Ability to work in a remote setting.
- Previous experience at a law firm.
- Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited university.
- In good standing with at least one of the states listed above Bar Associations.
- Located in or willing to relocate to any of the above states.
