Location: Chicago, downtown - requires 3 days onsite
Duration: 6+ months
Responsibilities
- Act as strategic business partner to corporate leaders on organizational needs, workforce planning, and people strategies
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and manager coaching on goal setting and employee development
- Manage annual compensation planning, salary reviews, and equity adjustments in partnership with compensation team
- Handle complex employee relations issues, workplace investigations, and policy violations
- Coach leaders on performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
- Develop initiatives to strengthen team culture, engagement, and retention
- Collaborate with legal and HR teams to ensure consistent practices and regulatory compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 5-7 years HR experience; minimum 3 years in corporate environment preferred
- Proven track record in strategic HR practices: talent management, employee relations, compensation planning, performance management, change management, and learning & development
- Experience supporting global teams (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field
