Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote – must be located in the Greater Bay area)

Base Pay Range

$160,000 – $210,000 per year

With multiple offices across the U.S. and a steadily expanding practice, they are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. The firm offers the flexibility to work fully remote from anywhere in the United States or in person at one of their office locations.

Position Overview

Our client is looking for a seasoned attorney with 7+ years of insurance defense and/or general liability litigation experience. This attorney will take ownership of complex cases from pre‑litigation through trial, including motion drafting, discovery strategy, legal analysis, and client communication. This role is ideal for someone who values autonomy, sophisticated work, and a collaborative, modern firm culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial.
  • Draft and argue motions; prepare pleadings, briefs, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, including written and perpetuated testimony.
  • Analyze liability issues and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Handle matters in both state and federal courts.
  • Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple cases in a fast‑moving environment.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum 7 years of insurance defense or general liability litigation experience.
  • Strong writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with e‑discovery tools and standard litigation technology.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • Base salary: $160,000 – $210,000, depending on experience.
