Solution Architect - Functional (Dallas, TX)

Base pay range $70.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a Solution Architect (Functional) for an onsite position in their Dallas office. In this role, you will support their growing Marketing & Personalization Platform team. This role will act as a liaison between platform operations and technical teams, helping define product strategy and translate requirements into executable technical work. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of CDPs, Adobe’s marketing ecosystem, and omnichannel marketing capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP), customer journeys, audiences, and targeting.
  • Experience working within the Adobe ecosystem—AEP, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or similar.
  • Ability to think from a solutioning / architecture perspective.
  • Broad understanding of content, marketing, and omnichannel experiences.
  • Data knowledge; familiarity with Snowflake is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in platform operations or marketing technology operations.
  • Prior experience in building or influencing personalization strategies.
  • Background in Agile environments and requirements gathering.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Strategy, Platform, and Engineering teams to define platform product strategy.
  • Translate business and personalization needs into clear technical requirements and user stories.
  • Work closely with teams to ensure requirements are captured, understood, and ready for development.
  • Serve as the primary platform liaison, ensuring alignment across marketing, content, and omnichannel workstreams.
  • Evaluate and solution within the Adobe ecosystem, including Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Target, and related tools.
  • Provide full-stack marketing and content guidance to ensure end-to-end solution coverage.
  • Support data-related initiatives; collaborate with teams leveraging Snowflake and other data platforms.
  • Identify gaps in current processes and contribute to process development as the operating model evolves.
