Pay Range
Base pay: $125,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr. Pay will be based on skills and experience.
How You’ll Make An Impact
As a Digital Product Owner, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping advance the goals of the Product Management team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the product backlog by translating strategy to execution via clear, prioritized sprint work, driving key initiatives such as the ongoing development and optimization of the Arc platform in alignment with our mission and strategic goals.
You’ll report to the VP of Product Management and Design and be part of a matrixed team environment where your contributions will help shape impactful outcomes. You’ll work closely with teams like Product Design, Technology, and the Project Management Office (PMO), and may partner with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Technical Development, Certification, and Marketing to iteratively deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product backlog: define, prioritize, and refine epics, features, and user stories aligned to product strategy and KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and create clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead sprint ceremonies with the Scrum team (planning, backlog grooming, reviews) and ensure readiness of user stories for development.
- Partner with product managers to develop product roadmaps, balancing user value, technical feasibility, and business outcomes and impact.
- Use data to drive decisions: define success metrics, analyze product performance, run A/B tests, and iterate based on insights.
- Collaborate with product design and UI/UX to deliver intuitive experiences and ensure design quality.
- Work with the project management office, technology/application development, and other key stakeholders to prioritize and sequence work, manage dependencies, and remove blockers; make trade‑off calls within sprints on scope, quality, and timelines.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders; prepare release notes.
- Run usability/functional tests, accept user stories, and validate benefits against desired outcomes.
- Ensure compliance, accessibility, and security standards are met.

Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a digital product owner or manager.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience).
Technology/System(s)
- Software development lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Wireframing and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Miro, Lucidchart).
- Product planning and roadmapping tools (e.g., Aha!, Notion).
Skills
- Strong skills in backlog management, user story writing, and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills.
- Solid understanding of API‑driven products, SQL basics, and ability to discuss trade‑offs with engineers.
- Proficient in web analytics and A/B testing.
- Familiarity with design thinking and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe).
Certifications
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (desired but not required).

Logistics
Location: Remote in U.S.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in candidate’s time zone.
Travel: 5%.
