Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $62,000‑$92,000 (potential increases based on experience and certification)

Role Summary
Deliver engaging, standards‑based instruction using Responsive Classroom strategies, monitor student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to refine practice.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high academic standards for all students, believing in their ability to learn.
- Develop quality Common Core aligned lesson plans.
- Use student assessment data to inform curriculum and instruction.
- Maximize learning time with effective classroom management.
- Create an inviting learning environment with varied techniques for diverse learners.
- Demonstrate deep mastery of instructional subject area.
- Show growth in student achievement from prior teaching roles.
- Collaborate with peers and instructional leaders for curricular coherence.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred).
- Experience teaching K‑12 in classrooms (urban, public charter, or Title I preferred).
- NY teacher certification or working toward certification (plus).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the USA.
