Position Responsibilities Ready to build an AI Center of Excellence from the ground up? As Senior Director, AI Solutions, you'll have an opportunity to build foundational AI capabilities that power AI transformation across the enterprise. You'll establish technical standards, design scalable platforms, and architect solutions that enable AI adoption. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the VP of AI Center of Excellence, where you'll partner directly with senior leadership to translate AI strategy into solutions that drive measurable business value.
Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for enterprise AI platforms, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals and long-term scalability requirements
Develop and maintain the enterprise AI technology roadmap, balancing innovation with practical implementation and organizational readiness
Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and frameworks to inform strategic technology decisions
Design end-to-end AI solutions that address complex business challenges, considering integration points, data flows, security requirements, and operational constraints
Define the technical architecture for enterprise AI platforms, including model deployment infrastructure, orchestration frameworks, and observability tools
Collaborate with governance teams to translate AI policies into technical controls and architectural safeguards
Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders, product leaders, and data science teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Mentor and guide technical teams on AI architecture principles, design patterns, and implementation best practices
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership
Qualifications Required Qualifications
18+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and IT systems, with significant recent experience (4+ years) architecting AI/ML solutions and platforms
Deep hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including large language models, generative AI platforms, machine learning frameworks, and AI agent architectures
Expert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services, API design, microservices architecture, containerization, and modern software development practices
Demonstrated superior analytical and technical thinking across multiple areas of responsibility, with proven track record defining technical strategy and leading enterprise-scale AI initiatives
Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical vision to audiences from technical teams to C-level executives
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Experience building AI Centers of Excellence or leading enterprise AI transformation programs
Familiarity with enterprise AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices
Certifications in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), or AI/ML specializations
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder Required
Compensation Information The U.S. salary range for this position is $141500.00 - $247500.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
