Marketing Specialist - Content & Events
Metro Global Ventures is seeking a Marketing Specialist for a role in one of our portfolio companies. This role is suited for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys building relationships with new people.
This Marketing Specialist - Content & Events will work alongside the business development, marketing, and event coordination teams and play a key role in sourcing, developing, and maintaining client relationships through strategic networking and engagement initiatives. A crucial part of this role will be traveling to client meetings, industry conferences, conventions, and networking events.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conferences and Events (40%)
Represent the company at business development events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to expand visibility and create new client opportunities.
Generate qualified leads and develop strong client pipelines through in-person engagement at industry events and conferences.
Educate potential new clients by explaining the company’s services and demonstrating the company platform.
-Client Relations (35%)
Build and cultivate new client relationships through proactive outreach, networking, and in-person engagement at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen and increase client engagement, ensuring meaningful, ongoing relationships that lead to long-term growth and retention.
Collaborate with executive teams, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and consistency across all client-facing initiatives.
Onboarding new clients and follow up with existing clients.
CRM management.
-Event Planning and Post-Event Analysis (25%)
Organize client dinners, happy hours, roundtables, etc.
Collaborate with internal teams on event logistics.
Analyze sales and marketing performance data to uncover insights that improve outreach effectiveness and client conversion.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
1-3 years of experience in B2B client account management, business events coordination, legal services, or B2B marketing.
Comfort with frequent travel across the United States (plus occasional international).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to learn.
High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
