Cloud Infrastructure Administrator
Ops Tech Alliance is looking for a
Cloud Infrastructure Administrator
to play a key role in supporting and securing mission‑critical systems. In this role, you’ll install, configure, and maintain infrastructure across cloud, hybrid cloud, LAN, and WAN environments—keeping systems running smoothly and securely.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring high availability, strong performance, and seamless integration of complex network and computing environments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in secure government settings, enjoys solving infrastructure challenges, and is passionate about building reliable, future‑ready systems.
THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and hybrid infrastructure, servers, network hardware, and software to ensure continuous operational capability
Monitor network and systems performance, implement regular maintenance schedules, and swiftly address performance issues to minimize downtime
Collaborate closely with System Architects and Security Analysts to design, implement, and maintain secure network and system environments, adhering strictly to DoD security standards including RMF and STIG compliance
Develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery and contingency plans
Provide input and recommendations for infrastructure upgrades and enhancements to maintain technology relevance and improve operational efficiency
Document network and system configurations, standard operating procedures, and operational protocols clearly and comprehensively
Required Qualifications
Top Secret security clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3 years experience managing, administering, and maintaining network and computer systems in enterprise environments
Proven technical experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), virtualization, network technologies (LAN/WAN), and system administration
Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks including RMF, STIG, and other relevant DoD security guidelines
Desired Qualifications
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or similar industry‑recognized network certification
Five or more years of relevant experience in Network and Systems Administration roles
Advanced experience troubleshooting complex network and system problems
Experience in federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community (IC) projects
