Salary Range: $127,000- $151,800 per year
Ops Tech Alliance is seeking a
Cloud Systems Developer
to design, build, and optimize software solutions for secure cloud and hybrid‑cloud environments. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring seamless system integration, strong security, and reliable performance across mission‑critical government operations.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and maintain robust cloud‑native systems and applications tailored to mission‑specific operational requirements
Collaborate closely with Cloud Architects, Cloud Engineers, Database Administrators, and Security Analysts to ensure integrated, secure, and highly performant system solutions
Implement automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and robust DevSecOps practices to streamline development and operational activities
Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance and availability, proactively addressing issues and recommending enhancements
Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and operational procedures
Ensure adherence to stringent cybersecurity standards and compliance guidelines, including RMF, STIG, and DoD security frameworks
Required Qualifications
Current Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 3 years experience developing software systems in cloud‑based (AWS/Azure) environments
Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and Agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
Industry‑recognized cloud or software development certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect)
Advanced understanding of microservices architecture and cloud‑native development patterns
Experience in federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community (IC) software development and system integration projects
Familiarity with security tools and practices specific to cloud environments
