What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct onsite surveys to identify and evaluate risk exposures for clients across various lines of Property and Casualty insurance
Analyze client information and historical loss data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Advise Underwriting on risk insurability and provide recommendations for risk management
Develop comprehensive technical reports detailing hazards, exposures, and risk control effectiveness
Build strong relationships with clients and internal partners to facilitate effective risk management solutions
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management, agriculture, food, engineering, business administration, or a safety-related field, or equivalent experience
Six to eight years of experience in commercial underwriting, claims adjusting, loss control, or related fields
Strong knowledge of worker’s compensation, general liability, and property insurance coverage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal and external contacts
Ability to conduct physical inspections and travel frequently for client engagements

Associated insurance designations
Experience working in the agriculture and food industries
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with leadership and clients
Knowledge of risk management issues and loss drivers in various commercial sectors
