Position Overview:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients, assisting them with routine health needs and life-defining health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients

• Preparing specimens for lab testing

• Following established practices and procedures

• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence

• Explaining procedures clearly to patients

This role requires demonstrating leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized environment.

• Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties according to established procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrate excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

• Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred ( REQUIRED in California, Nevada, and Washington )

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience REQUIRED
