What You’ll Be Doing We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Program Director to lead our outpatient child and adolescent therapy program. This role provides clinical oversight, ensures regulatory compliance, supports staff development, and drives high‑quality, evidence‑based care for children and families.
Responsibilities
Provide oversight and management of all outpatient clinical services, including therapy, psychiatric evaluations, and medication monitoring.
Ensure full compliance with North Carolina regulations, including NC General Statutes (Chapter 122C), 10A NCAC 27G, and Medicaid Clinical Coverage Policies.
Supervise, support, and mentor licensed clinicians and psychiatric providers.
Review and approve clinical assessments, treatment plans, and documentation to ensure quality and regulatory standards are met.
Coordinate with the Medical Director and psychiatric staff to ensure safe and effective medication prescribing, monitoring, and informed consent.
Develop and maintain protocols related to medication management and clinical operations.
Implement outcome measurement systems and lead continuous quality improvement efforts.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA standards and confidentiality requirements.
Collaborate with families, referral sources, schools, and child welfare partners.
Represent the program during audits, reviews, and accreditation processes.

Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
Full clinical licensure in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
At least 2 years of supervisory or administrative experience.
Knowledge of NC mental health regulations, Medicaid billing, trauma‑informed care, and evidence‑based practices.
Ability to coordinate with psychiatric providers regarding medication management and treatment planning.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with foster care or child welfare populations.
Certification in clinical supervision.
Experience with electronic health records and clinical data reporting systems.
