We are looking for an Application Engineer (AE) with a solid background in electronics engineering, software development, and hands‑on experience in ATE testing. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically utilizing Advantest's V93000 hardware and SmarTest 8 software. This role will be critical in developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for next‑generation high‑performance devices.
Responsibilities include:
Initiate and develop new test methodologies and solutions for customers' devices on V93K.
Convert and debug test programs and support hardware interface design for customer's device on V93K.
Optimize test program to reduce test time and increase fault coverage.
Solve engineering and production problems for customers.
Collaborate with colleagues from application development team, division, and field personnel for project implementation.
Communicate with customers to ensure services delivered meet their requirements.
Document all projects and intellectual assets.
Expect a minimum of 20% travel to various customer and Advantest sites (sometimes on short notice).
