Job Overview
A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Systems Architect to help design, integrate, and deploy IP based systems for a program with the FAA. This individual can sit remote with flexibility to occasionally travel to project sites.

Duration:
12mo Contract to Hire
Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr
Your Tasks:
Design, integrate, and deploy client Air Traffic Control (ATC) project IP-based voice communications systems/subsystems, including analog protocol converters for radio and telephony, networking, and air traffic controller operator and administrator acceptance.
Provide technical support from project initiation to closeout, ensuring requirement validation and customer satisfaction.
Orchestrate and conduct internal and customer system design and requirement events within project schedule and budget.
Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions, maximizing R&S content by creating and maintaining a Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and, at times, derive customer requirements for compliance against R&S products, establish requirement success criteria, and assist in allocation per test case.
Develop system architecture according to customer requirements and CONOPS, including high-level to detailed designs, call/network data flows, sequence diagrams, and review/approve technical drawings and specifications from design and product teams.
Develop quality system design and configuration documentation in coordination with test, design engineers, and peer product engineering teams.
Support test team with test planning and support test execution.
Support training team with event execution and customer management.
Serve as technical interface between customers, client product design and development teams, and project management.
Lead product certification by coordinating with external labs and managing product assets in both Canada and the United States.
Install and configure networking and computing systems.
Provide expert-level technical support and troubleshooting of voice communication systems.
Provide routine internal and external customer updates on engineering activities.
