A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced System Engineer with a background in VoIP engineering to support a federal program in the Columbia, MD area. This role is supporting a large FAA program focused on modernizing voice communications within air traffic control. Responsibilities include:

Assist the design, integration and deployment of voice communication systems/subsystems for ATC projects

Create and maintain technical documentation according to customer requirements

Translate customer needs into requirementsPrepare regular reports on project status

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant

4+ years of experience with systems for critical infrastructure customers

Experience with requirement management processes and tools (DOORS, Cameo, etc)

Experienced designing, integrating and/or deploying VoIP systemsTechnical writing experience

Ability to travel occasionally to project sites to assist with deployment
