Modernization Systems Developer
TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Salary Range: $127,000 - $151,800 per year

In this role, you'll work in an agile environment and embrace DevSecOps practices to deliver high‑impact solutions aligned with DoD and IC standards. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement application features and services for modernized systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript
Support the refactoring and re‑engineering of legacy codebases into modular, cloud‑native applications
Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA engineers, and other developers deliver secure, high‑performing applications
Participate in Agile sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, code reviews, and retrospectives
Integrate applications into CI/CD pipelines and follow secure coding best practices
Produce technical documentation for designs, APIs, and development workflows
Required Qualifications
Current Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience developing software applications
Proficiency in modern software development frameworks and languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working in Agile/DevSecOps environments
Desired Qualifications
Experience modernizing DoD or IC systems
Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
Familiarity with tools like GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence
Relevant certifications such as AWS Developer Associate or Azure Developer Associate
