Application Programmer
TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Salary Range: $97,000 - $117,000 per year
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an Application Programmer to help shape the next generation of secure, mission-focused technology solutions. In this role, you’ll design, build, and test applications that power critical operations while working with a collaborative team of senior developers, systems analysts, and DevSecOps experts.
We’re looking for problem-solvers who are passionate about creating reliable, modern software in both cloud and hybrid environments. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Responsibilities
Write, modify, and debug code for application components based on technical specifications and functional requirements
Support back-end and front-end development activities using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python
Collaborate with systems developers and analysts to ensure proper integration of application features and services
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and version control practices to ensure code quality and maintainability
Assist in the preparation of user and technical documentation
Support Agile sprint activities and DevSecOps processes for continuous integration and delivery.
Required Qualifications
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in software application development
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python
Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development environments
Desired Qualifications
Experience working in Agile development environments
Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI/CD
Exposure to secure coding practices and requirements in DoD or IC environments
