Application Programmer
TS/SCI with Polygraph Required
Salary Range: $97,000 - $117,000 per year
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking an Application Programmer to help shape the next generation of secure, mission-focused technology solutions. In this role, you’ll design, build, and test applications that power critical operations while working with a collaborative team of senior developers, systems analysts, and DevSecOps experts.

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Responsibilities
- Write, modify, and debug code for application components based on technical specifications and functional requirements
- Support back-end and front-end development activities using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python
- Collaborate with systems developers and analysts to ensure proper integration of application features and services
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and version control practices to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Assist in the preparation of user and technical documentation
- Support Agile sprint activities and DevSecOps processes for continuous integration and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in software application development
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and tools such as GitLab CI/CD
- Exposure to secure coding practices and requirements in DoD or IC environments
