Location: Washington State (PNW)

The Director of Sales is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Driving sales for assigned communities and meeting or exceeding occupancy and revenue targets
Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans with General Managers (GMs) and Community Relations Directors (CRDs) to maintain or increase occupancy at 94% or higher
Monitoring CRM database usage and sales processes, holding CRDs accountable to standards and best practices
Conducting regular community site visits, providing actionable feedback and post‑visit reports
Managing commission structures, referral agency contracts, and vendor relationships
Overseeing lease‑ups and guiding communities toward stabilization within budgeted timelines
Training and coaching GMs, CRDs, and CRAs on sales processes, CRM usage, and strategy development
Representing Merrill Gardens positively in the market and recruiting key community‑level team members as needed
Analyzing competitive shops and market data to inform sales strategies
If you are someone with:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
5–7 years of sales and/or marketing experience, including 1–2 years of management experience
Senior Living industry experience (preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
Ability to travel extensively across assigned region
Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Physical Requirements: This role may involve regular use of a computer, extensive travel between communities, and occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs.). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws.
