Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

Urology
Fargo, ND (32nd Avenue Campus)
Position Overview General Schedule:
Clinic hours, 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m., OR hours 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM; no call, evenings, or weekends
Location:
32nd Avenue Campus, Fargo, ND
Practice Mix:
Approximately 60% outpatient clinic and 40% urologist surgical first-assist coverage
Future Opportunity:
Strong potential to expand advanced practice clinician procedural work within the outpatient setting and clinic outreach
Outpatient Volume:
10-14 patients per day
Preferred Experience:
Background in Urology
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will utilize advanced assessment, clinical knowledge, and sound decision-making skills while practicing both independently and collaboratively with physicians and other health care professionals. The APP will focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and comprehensive care for individuals and families across the lifespan, in alignment with their area of expertise.
Education/Training Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited program/institution.
Preference for background/experience in Urology
Licensure and Certifications Required Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state (if NP).
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR
National certification, in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
