Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Demand Planning with proven expertise in Anaplan or similar demand & supply planning systems to lead our end‑to‑end supply chain planning and logistics team. This is a pivotal opportunity for someone eager to make a significant impact at a growing company. The role plays a pivotal part in ensuring supply chain efficiency, optimizing costs, and aligning operations with commercial goals in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of supply chain and logistics operations for our EMEA region.

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business growth and ensure timely order fulfilment.

Identify and deliver cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.

Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team and empower your people to ensure service levels, responsiveness, and reliability meet evolving client needs, while maintaining cost control and stock efficiency.

Drive inventory optimisation, manage inventory, reduce waste, and mitigate supply risks.

Reduce lead times, increase supply chain resilience, and elevate service levels across global operations.

Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure on‑time delivery, accuracy, and consistently high service levels.

Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy and determine KPIs to drive performance.

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Marketing and Finance teams and present data findings and recommendations to shape and set strategy.

Lead supply chain planning and forecasting activities using Anaplan, ensuring integration with finance, sales, and operations planning (S&OP).

Manage Inventory Holdings to achieve 4 to 6 Inventory turns per year while supporting consensus demand and revenue plan.

Ensure compliance with Irish, EU & International logistics, customs, and trade regulations.

Understand relevant legislation and standards (import/export, health and safety, sustainability).

Negotiate with logistics providers and manage third‑party supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost‑effective delivery.

Oversee the integration of sustainable practices within the supply chain function.

Use Anaplan but be capable of modelling demand and supply in Excel, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to improve service levels and reduce costs.

Develop, implement, monitor and report on cross‑functional KPIs to ensure effective execution, integration and performance of the new IBP process.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Embed and facilitate the Integrated monthly discipline process within the commercial functions and establish metrics for success.

Facilitate the integration of new product commercialization calendars and requirements, trade promotions and customer planning, and strategic initiatives into an S&OP process.

Participate in shaping Supply and Demand Planning strategies, capabilities and processes to improve S&OP integration and performance.

Build processes, systems and teams that result in a 24‑month global forward‑looking business plan by week.

Drive consensus between cross‑functional groups and leaders.

Continuously improve the monthly S&OP cycle including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions, robust alignment with financial budgets and projections and critical meetings such as Demand (unconstrained and net) and Supply Reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics management roles, preferably in a multinational or fast‑paced environment.

Strong hands‑on experience with Anaplan or similar demand & supply planning systems – including model building, scenario planning, and data integration.

Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.

Strong understanding of supply chain principles, S&OP processes, and demand planning methodologies.

Proven ability to navigate customs, import/export documentation, and regulatory requirements within EMEA and MENA.

In‑depth knowledge of international trade, tariffs, compliance, and post‑Brexit EU relations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced/expert level in Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
