SUMMARY The Associate Vendor Management Analyst supports MBA's business applications and technology operations by coordinating with third-party vendors, monitoring vendor performance, and maintaining accurate documentation of vendor relationships and compliance requirements.

Reporting to the Associate Product Development Manager, the incumbent ensures that vendor deliverables, service levels, and compliance requirements are met, while assisting with ticket management, release schedules, and system integrations. This role provides a critical bridge between MBA staff, IT leadership, and external service providers to promote efficient and reliable system operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage MBA's ticketing system by triaging, assigning, and tracking tickets for timely resolution

Monitor vendor performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs); escalated issues as needed

Support the Associate Product Development Manager in coordinating vendor activities, including system upgrades and integrations

Maintain vendor documentation, including contracts, contacts, compliance documents (certifications, certificates of insurance, etc.), and performance records

Assist in preparing and updating release schedules and related documentation

Collaborate with vendors and MBA staff during testing and validation of system changes or enhancements

Provide reporting and analysis on vendor performance, costs, and issue resolution

Support vendor onboarding and due-diligence processes (including information gathering during security assessments)

Ensure vendor practices align with MBA's security and compliance standards.

Perform other duties as assigned

SPECIFICATIONS

1-3 years of experience in vendor management, business analysis, procurement, or operations

Familiarity with enterprise systems or Association Management Systems (AMS) preferred

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Ability to analyze data and prepare performance reports (Power Bi or Excel is a plus)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders

Detail-oriented, customer service-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The current recruitment range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000.
