Overview The Property Manager directs and coordinates the financial and physical operations of assigned retail/shopping center property(s) to meet corporate financial objectives, maintain physical condition, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and corporate policies.
Responsibilities
Maintain awareness of property status and market conditions.
Create an annual operating budget and monitor performance.
Prepare monthly budget variance report.
Conduct regular property inspections.
Identify and control physical safety and liability concerns.
Review vendor contracts and negotiate new contracts.
Maintain tenant contact and address questions.
Review tenant accounts and resolve collection issues.
Report collection activity monthly to Property Accounting and senior management.
Review and prepare tenant improvement allowances.
Provide input to Marketing on programs and signage.
Ensure lease compliance and collect information as required.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree required.
5+ years of commercial property management experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
Experience managing a commercial portfolio, preferably retail or shopping center assets.
General understanding of property marketing, budgeting, and capital improvements.
Annual Base Salary $95,000 – $121,000. Eligible for annual discretionary bonus program.
