Job Overview The SVP, Finance Applications is responsible for the design, testing and implementation of initiatives related to finance’s internally development applications, data analytics & reporting, and the execution of strategic business initiatives for the Finance Division.

A Typical Day

Oversight of timely and accurate reporting of loan activity through varies internally developed applications and associated integrations from upstream applications.

Delivery of Finance Division strategic initiatives as prioritized by Finance PMO.

Support technology vision by incorporating AI into product deliverables by educating business product owners on benefits and added efficiency.

Manage the day-to-day activities of all Internally Developed Finance systems related to Treasury and Mortgage Loan systems (Flowscape, LIDS, LAR, FAV P&L and Valuation)

Lead a team of Data Analytics & Reporting individuals responsible for creating and maintaining statistical calculations and reports for Financial Reporting, Compliance, FP&A, Treasury, and SOX, and Management Reporting, using Snowflake and RIMS.

Review business requirements for conversion into a functional design document and collaborate with Application Development team for technical design and development.

Oversee the QA/QC of delivered Application Development & Reporting products and ensure Finance Division UAT is documented and accepted prior to production deployment.

Provide the focus and direction to the project teams to ensure on-time delivery of initiatives.

Partner with PMO team on the progress of key strategic initiatives, to manage project risks.

Mentor/coach team members in support of professional goals aligning with Finance Division strategy.

Support ad-hoc request related to loan portfolio analysis.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or business-related field

Experience in managing and delivering complex technology solutions

Experience implementing & managing AI initiatives, preferred

Extensive experience in deploying and managing business intelligence system and data warehousing

Understanding of business processes to produce analytics and reports that will drive business decisions

Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, and experience with SQL preferred

Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently

Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment

Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment

Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management

Salary $140,000 - $175,000
