The

District Manager

will lead a team of five‑seven Point of Care Solution Specialists covering Hospital and Outpatient customer segments and be responsible for generating sales in the growing Point of Care diagnostics industry. The role covers the southern half of California (San Diego to just south of the Bay Area) and does not include San Francisco or San Jose. Ideal candidates will live in LA, Orange County, or San Diego and be willing to travel approximately 50% in the local area. The sales cycle is highly complex and involves multiple stakeholders across several hospital service lines, outpatient care settings, and distribution partners. You will provide leadership to sales representatives through direction, motivation, coaching, skill development, and knowledge sharing to lead your team to execute sales strategies that result in financial goal attainment, strong customer loyalty, and staff development. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. What You’ll Work On

Hire, develop and coach extraordinary sales professionals who execute complex, long-term sales strategies to address customer pain points and maximize long-term partnerships. Work in the field with the sales team to identify and synthesize customer and competitor insights, market and industry challenges, and apply APOC product solutions to drive long-term strategies and foster enduring customer relationships. Ensure achievement of sales and commercial objectives across the assigned district. Develop and execute plans to accelerate district sales growth and profitably capture and increase market share. Take an entrepreneurial approach to increase the district’s profitability. Partner with cross‑functional internal APOC colleagues to ensure your customers meet or exceed contractual obligations. Champion new initiatives and identify opportunities to build a culture of collaboration within the district. Build strong and lasting relationships with our Distribution partners that maximize top line growth and profitability for APOC. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree. 7+ years of diagnostics, point of care (POC), lab, or capital equipment sales experience. 3+ years of experience leading, developing, training, and mentoring direct reports. Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills. Highly proficient at using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform. Ability to travel up to 80% in the assigned district and other business locations in the USA. Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to build a high performing sales team through talent identification, development, and continuous performance management. Consistent history of being a consistently overachieving sales leader (e.g., President’s Club winner). Consistently ranks among the top 20% in peer sales group. Has established contacts at Integrated Delivery Networks and Hospital Systems within the assigned territory. Attended multiple sales training courses (e.g., Challenger, Miller Heiman) and is an active user of effective sales methodologies. Established relationships with medical distribution representatives, preferably in the hiring region. Proven leader, trainer, and coach of sales professionals within the hospital or outpatient diagnostics or medical devices industry. Benefits
