Manager, Digital Merchandise Planning The Manager, Digital Merchandise Planning will assist in managing and optimizing the digital product assortment, inventory, and sales strategies across e-commerce channels. This role supports the Director of Digital Merchandise Planning by analyzing sales data, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring that the right products are available online to meet customer demand. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and successful execution of digital merchandising plans.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute digital merchandise plans, forecasts, and budgets for the online store.

Analyze historical sales data, traffic trends, and customer behavior to predict demand and adjust product availability and inventory levels accordingly.

Collaborate with the buying team to ensure the right product mix for the digital channel, considering online shopping behaviors and market trends.

Inventory Management & Optimization

Monitor inventory levels for the e-commerce platform to ensure optimal stock levels, balancing sales demand with supply chain constraints.

Ensure timely product launches and availability, coordinating with the Sales & Planning teams.

Sales Reporting & Analysis

Analyze online sales performance, website traffic, and key digital KPIs (conversion rate, average order value, etc.) to make data-driven decisions.

Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, and other key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

Use web analytics and e-commerce data tools to track product performance and customer engagement on the digital platform.

Promotions & Pricing Strategy

Collaborate with the retention team to align digital merchandising strategies with promotional calendars, discounts, and seasonal campaigns.

Monitor pricing strategies and adjust as necessary to ensure competitiveness and profitability across digital channels.

Analyze the impact of promotions and pricing strategies on online sales and adjust plans as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with customer service teams to identify and resolve any customer feedback related to product availability or online shopping experience.

Collaborate with marketing teams to manage online exclusives, limited-time offers, and other promotional strategies.

Qualifications

3+ years of Planning experience

Proven ability to analyze e-commerce data and adjust merchandising strategies based on insights.

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools (experience with Shopify aplus)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, digital environment.
