Offer Description A postdoctoral fellowship is available in the Polymerization Processes Group at the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa ( www.polymat.eu ).
Emulsion polymerization is an industrialized process for the production of polymer latexes that involves a complex, heterogeneous polymerization system and leads to polymers with a diverse range of structures. This project looks to use machine learning to better target polymerization processes and products made from emulsion polymers.
Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering (or a related discipline) and should have some experience in polymers and mathematical modelling.
Good command of written and spoken English is a must (if preselected, a telephone interview will be carried out before any other appointment is made).
