We are currently looking for a Director of Clinical Operations in Washington. We are seeking a highly driven and strategic clinical operations leader to take ownership of a fast-growing behavioral health service line. This role is responsible for building scalable operational systems, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care across multiple sites. You will oversee clinician onboarding, staffing, and readiness while driving key performance metrics and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a data-driven environment, excels at problem-solving, and has experience managing complex, multi-site healthcare operations. This position offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes, shape operational strategy, and play a pivotal role in expanding access to behavioral health services nationwide.
Accountabilities
Lead end-to-end service-line operations, including clinician onboarding, deployment, and readiness for new program launches.
Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable processes and systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistent service delivery.
Use data to drive decision making, creating and managing dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Payroll, Recruiting, Technology, and other teams to ensure operational alignment.
Drive operational improvements to enhance provider and client experience, streamline workflows, and optimize margins.
Lead, coach, and develop teams that demonstrate accountability, precision, and excellence in service delivery.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders, influencing business growth and providing direction on complex operational issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in consulting, healthcare operations, or multi-site clinical management.
Proven ownership mindset with the ability to translate tasks into measurable business outcomes.
Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Excel; ability to convert data into actionable strategies.
Experience leading cross-functional teams through operational growth, change, and complexity.
Excellent executive communication skills for engagement with clinicians, clients, and senior leaders.
Passion for solving complex operational challenges in a mission-driven healthcare organization.
