The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the branch, with full P&L accountability. Acting as a change agent, the GM will implement more efficient, profit-focused processes while maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and client service. Success in this role will mean expanded market share, stronger client partnerships, and a cohesive, motivated team culture. The role requires close collaboration with design, project management, and maintenance teams, and reports directly to senior leadership. Responsibilities
Drive business growth by developing and executing strategies to expand market share in luxury residential landscaping. Cultivate strong relationships with builders, architects, and referral sources to generate new opportunities. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance with full P&L responsibility. Implement modern systems, technologies, and processes to streamline project execution and enhance profitability. Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end clients, acting as a trusted partner and brand ambassador. Identify new service offerings and market opportunities, integrating innovative and sustainable practices. Requirements
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in construction, landscaping, or related design-build industries. Proven track record of overseeing operations with P&L responsibility in a multi-million-dollar setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster cultural transformation and team development. Deep understanding of high-end residential markets and client expectations. Strategic business development skills, including relationship-building and marketing/social media familiarity. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, or related field preferred. Nice to Have
Experience introducing new technologies and process improvements to enhance profitability and client experience. Familiarity with luxury or upscale service industries. Salary
