A nationally recognized transactional law platform is expanding its
Real Estate Joint Venture and Finance
practice and is seeking a high-caliber mid-level to senior associate to join the team. This role is built for attorneys who want to be deeply embedded in sophisticated real estate transactions—working alongside institutional investors, private equity sponsors, developers, and lenders on complex capital structures across multiple asset classes. You will not be siloed. You will be trusted with meaningful responsibility, exposed to decision-makers, and expected to think commercially as well as legally. What Makes This Role Compelling

Real Estate Joint Ventures Draft, review, and negotiate joint venture agreements and related governance documents for real estate investments Advise sponsors and institutional partners on economic arrangements, control rights, exit provisions, and risk allocation Real Estate Finance Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated real estate financing transactions, including senior loans, mezzanine debt, and structured financings Negotiate loan documentation and manage deal execution through closing Acquisitions & Dispositions Support buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets and portfolios Coordinate diligence, transactional documentation, and closing mechanics Asset Class Coverage Work across a broad range of property types, including office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, and mixed‑use assets Deal Management & Client Interaction Take ownership of workstreams within transactions and manage components of deals with increasing autonomy Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, and internal deal teams The Ideal Candidate
You are a technically strong real estate transactional attorney who also understands
how deals actually work . You are comfortable managing multiple transactions at once, prioritizing effectively, and stepping into a leadership role on deals as needed. Experience & Skills Mid‑level to senior associate experience in real estate joint ventures, real estate finance, or both Substantial experience with complex real estate financings (lender and/or borrower representation) and/or joint venture transactions Experience with acquisitions and dispositions across multiple asset classes Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue‑spotting skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Professional Profile Outstanding academic credentials Comparable large‑scale or sophisticated law firm experience Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage deal timelines Bar Admission
