The Role Wood is currently looking for
Right of Way Manager to join our Oil, Gas & New Energies team in our office in Houston,TX. The role will be responsible for supervising, coaching, instructing, and coordinating the activities of three of more Agents on a daily basis. The ROW Supervisor will also serve as a direct liaison between the company's Land and Right-of-Way Department and various public and governmental contacts.

Typical responsibilities
Full supervisory responsibility for assigned staff and/or project
Estimates staffing needs and schedules, assigns and monitors work to meet completion date
Coaches and counsels employees, provides input to hire, fire & performance management decisions
Works under limited supervision
Consults with manager concerning unusual problems and developments, critical issues and new concepts
Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice, but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements
Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations of data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and that frequently require new approaches to resolve problems encountered

Expected:
Minimum of nine years of pipeline right of way acquisition experience
Associate’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or Real Estate or equivalent experience in title research, pre-law, surveying, or abstracting
Right of way professional certification preferred
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to recommend timely and cost-effective solutions
Ability to present detailed status reports as prescribed by company
Ability to coordinate outside land services as needed
Demonstrates proficiency in mentoring, knowledge transfer and project planning
