Job Description Our client, a well-established firm, is seeking an experienced
Tax Senior Manager
to join their team in Tulsa, OK. This position offers a hybrid work option with three days in the office and two days remote. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in public accounting, a CPA license, and a deep understanding of tax strategies across various industries.
Responsibilities As a Tax Senior Manager, your typical day may include:
Managing and Reviewing Returns : Oversee high-level tax returns for clients across diverse industries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Client Collaboration : Partner with clients and internal staff to complete tax returns, consulting projects, and provisions on time.
Approval and Release : Review, approve, and sign completed tax returns before releasing them to clients.
Team Development : Mentor and coach staff members, fostering their professional growth and technical skills.
Information Gathering : Work closely with clients to collect relevant tax-related information for preparing accurate returns.
Strategic Tax Planning : Evaluate tax scenarios from multiple perspectives to maximize client benefits.
Business Development : Build and maintain relationships with current clients and network to attract new business opportunities.
Billing : Manage billing for services rendered, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Requirements Summary Must Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
CPA License
Prior experience in public accounting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Advanced knowledge of specialized tax areas
Experience with tax software systems and tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range:
USD $120,000 – $160,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and geographic location.
