Before you read any further, this position is for a Traveling Superintendent. Most of the projects will be in central Indiana ornortheast Florida.

We are looking for a Lead Superintendent who has experience traveling and building ground upcommercial construction projects in K-12, Healthcare, hospitality, mixed use multifamily and municipalities. A successful Superintendent at Meyer Najem runs everything day to day at the job site while communicating effectively with the back office staff. Position Responsibilities

Ability to run profitable projects from $25M - $80M or more

Perform weekly safety inspections and/or weekly safetymeetings

Interpret project scope, clarifications, prints, specifications, addendums, change orders, etc. and execute the workprocesses

Performwork in compliance with the Company Safety Program and OSHA Standards

Scheduling of subcontractors andmanpower

Ordermaterials, tools, and equipment as may be required for the work onsite

Effectively communicate between subcontractors and owner, architect and/or project manager, etc.

Execute and maintain all records onsite in an orderly and timely fashion

Schedule all non‑building material during the project start up phase

Prepare and meet with subcontractors and suppliers at a pre‑construction meeting to verify site and building layout/dimensions and report any inconsistencies with the project manager

Minimum Qualifications

At least a High School diploma or GED required

At least 5years of field experience as a Superintendent or General Foreman strongly preferred

Traveling Superintendent experience or open to relocation to central Indiana

Previous experience supervising subcontractors

A safety first mindset

Familiar with technology: ProCore, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, Excel

The ideal candidate has the ability to solve problems with limited direction

Physical Requirements of the job:

Ability to climb stairs and ladders without assistance

Ability to walk for long periods of time unaided

Ability to lift at least 30 pounds without assistance
