Reputable General Contractor is hiring for Multifamily & Hospitality Superintendents with New Construction experience.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop and manage the construction plan/schedule for successful execution of the work.
Interact effectively with Owners, teams, and other stakeholders to maintain a positive project environment and exceptional client experience.
Provide leadership and guidance to assigned project team members and subcontractors.
Review contract drawings and coordinate the documentation of constructability issues, potential design deficiencies, impractical details, and clarifications with appropriate personnel.
Perform walkthroughs, schedule inspections, and ensure permits are in place.
Develop and update the project schedule and ensure it is current to manage the project and meet the completion date; ensure subcontractors are updated with the current project schedule.
Oversee and make decisions related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, site cleanliness, and trade performance.
Manage the overall site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Federal and State standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors and prepare daily field status reports.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the preliminary budget and schedule.
Ensure proper project closeout.
Schedule, manage, and supervise completion of a final punch list.
What You Need for this Position
5+ years' experience in multifamily construction.
Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
Ability to use sector/project-specific software systems including Microsoft Office suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.).
