About the Opportunity

leading global financial institution
is seeking a
Director of Operations Transformation Strategy
to lead enterprise-wide change across U.S. Wealth Management Operations. This is a senior, high-impact leadership role driving modernization, efficiency, and scalability across front-to-back functions. The position is ideal for a strategic operator who can blend
technology vision, business acumen, and operational rigor —someone who’s equally comfortable building the roadmap and delivering results. You’ll lead large-scale change initiatives, oversee technology strategy and funding, and drive execution excellence across all operational programs. What You’ll Do
Strategic Leadership & Transformation
Define and execute the
Operations Transformation strategy
for U.S. Wealth Management, ensuring alignment with enterprise growth objectives.
Build and maintain a
3–5-year roadmap
integrating technology, automation, and operational process redesign.
Lead strategic transformation programs, including digital enablement, process simplification, and platform modernization.
Establish governance, frameworks, and performance metrics to ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Partner with operations, product, technology, compliance, and front-office leadership to ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable impact.
Program Execution & Oversight
Oversee a portfolio of large-scale transformation projects, managing
initiative prioritization, funding, and execution governance.
Implement
Change the Bank / Run the Bank (CTB/RTB)
strategies that align with operational excellence and business growth.
Develop and deliver
executive-level reporting and presentations
focused on progress, risk, and financial outcomes.
Drive adoption of
AI, RPA, and workflow automation
to improve capacity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
Conduct post-implementation assessments to track ROI, user adoption, and ongoing performance improvements.
Technology & Financial Stewardship
Oversee
budget planning, financial forecasting, and investment prioritization
for Operations initiatives.
Manage funding approvals and financial performance reporting across multiple transformation programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive
cost efficiency and technology integration
across platforms.
What You Bring
15+ years
of experience in
financial services operations , ideally within wealth management, banking, or securities.
Proven success leading
large-scale change programs
with measurable business outcomes.
Deep understanding of
broker-dealer operations, regulatory frameworks (FINRA, SEC, OCC, FED),
and wealth management products.
Demonstrated expertise in
strategic planning, project portfolio management,
and cross-functional leadership.
Experience driving transformation through
technology enablement, automation, and process re-engineering.
Strong executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced certification in project or change management preferred.
