We are seeking a dynamic Catering & Restaurant Sales Manager to drive sales for small‑market catering events (up to 49 guests) and restaurant venue bookings for private events up to 200 guests.
Work Hours
Full‑Time and On‑Site
Scheduling may include holidays, nights, and weekends depending on business needs.
Compensation
Salary rage is $75K - $80K per year based on experience.
This position is eligible for a performance‑based incentive plan.
Job Requirements
Proven hospitality sales experience with strengths in relationship building, needs assessment, closing business, and long‑term client management.
Ability to quickly recognize client goals, priorities, and buying criteria.
Creative and polished approach to crafting proposals and conducting memorable site inspections.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong follow‑up and time‑management abilities.
Positive, solution‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach to driving results.
Ability to work collaboratively with all hotel departments.
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Essential job duties, responsibilities, and assignments
Generate catering and restaurant venue revenue aligned with property business goals.
Proactively sell private dining and restaurant event spaces for groups up to 200 guests.
Achieve or exceed individual and hotel revenue goals for catering and restaurant bookings.
Identify and pursue new business through phone outreach, outside sales calls, networking, digital prospecting, community involvement, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and maintain detailed sales action plans that reflect market trends and property goals.
Prepare creative proposals, lead high‑impact site tours, and implement competitive sales strategies to secure business.
Partner with Sales, Events, Culinary, and Operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and exceptional event execution.
Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and manage contract minimums, attrition, and cancellation timelines.
Ensure timely and complete transfer of booking details to the Events team, following all hotel and brand standards.
Address and resolve guest concerns that arise during the sales process promptly and professionally.
Serve as a role model for hospitality excellence, teamwork, and communication.
Promote open communication across departments and support a positive workplace culture.
Participate in performance feedback processes and contribute to team development.
Execute additional duties as assigned by management.
