How you will contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Develops and implements a patient focused nursing plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family.
- Cares for patients in accordance with established best practices.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Maintains the privacy and security of all confidential and protected health information. Use and disclosure only that information which is necessary to perform the function of the job.
- Contributes to and assists in maintaining a pleasant patient environment in a safe and orderly manner.

- Basic Life Support certification is required (available upon hire)
- 1-Year Medical-Surgical Experience required
- NRP, STABLE, AWHONN and EFM (within 6 months of hire)
- Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
