Temp Assignment SAFETY SENSITIVE ROLE - SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTING 1st Shift Monday-Friday, occasional evening/weekend overtime. The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, rework, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment. Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard " Cut, prepare, and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, apply conformal coat, marking, and adhesive bonding " Complete work according to instructions, specifications, and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision " Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures " Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates' work to ensure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawings " Adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures " Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed " Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment, or completed OJT training for at least five products Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English " Must be able to work all shifts and be available for overtime and weekends as needed " Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned " Use hand tools, power tools, and an electric soldering gun " Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol screenings " Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations " Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering " Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures " Experience with MS Office Suite " Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking about in the indoor company facilities " Perform light lifting from the floor, table, and shelf " Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling, exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces
