- Perform access control duties by monitoring entry and exit points at the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing badges in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at designated posts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals as needed while upholding site-specific policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to monitor for security-related concerns, reporting any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
