As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and excellent customer service will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property and respond promptly to situations, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. - Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding any security-related issues or incidents.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
