As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing site protocols as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to monitor for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behaviors.
- Observe and report any security-related concerns or incidents encountered during patrols within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters and site activities.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
- Support emergency preparedness drills and participate in response efforts as directed according to site-specific guidelines.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
